Gilded Tarot  Open in New Window

The Gilded Tarot is a visually stunning Rider-Waite style tarot, the first from the talented Ciro Marchetti. The 78 cards feature real people, and have a mix of medieval, fantasy, cosmic and steampunk art, all illustrated in lush, vivid colour.

The Gilded Tarot Royale is an update and re-working of Ciro Marchetti's first tarot deck, the Gilded Tarot, ten years on. It's been released as a special limited edition by Ciro himself.

Halo/Sharp New Energy New Age Tarot  Open in New Window

Deck Image

The Halo/Sharp New Energy, New Age Tarot is a non-traditional major arcana deck. Its cards have computer-generated art and have been changed in order to remove negative energies. They are also retitled - The Fool is now Joyful, Death is now Initiation, The Devil is Saturn - and there is no numbering so that the cards can be ordered in multiple ways.

Kingdom Within Tarot  Open in New Window

The Kingdom Within Tarot combines astrology, Qabalah, mythological archetypes, the elements, and the cyclical nature of the cosmos into 78 Tarot cards. The deck is designed for practical divination as well as self-knowledge. The set and very comprehensive companion book has been published by Schiffer Books.

Philosopher's Stone Tarot  Open in New Window

Deck Image

The Philosopher's Stone Tarot is a complete deck with art created with computer graphics programs and inspired by the artist's website. It follows the Waite tradition with some updates to better reflect the 21st century manner of thought.

Pictorial Key Tarot  Open in New Window

Deck Image

The Pictorial Key Tarot is a modernisation of the Rider-Waite Tarot images, very similar in symbolism to the original but not quite a clone. Created in a computer-generated style, the 78 cards are detailed and reasonably lifelike, but have a slightly perfect, plastic look.

Portal Tarot  Open in New Window

Deck Image

A self published, high quality tarot deck, the Portal Tarot has intricate computer-generated art on its twenty-two cards.

SpiroTarot  Open in New Window

The SpiroTarot is an unpublished deck based on the Rider-Waite, with 78 cards of colourful, complex geometric patterns. The artwork was created by digital software, SpiroRoma, based on the Spirograph toy invented in the sixties.

The Tarot Deck of Athennium is a Japanese-published deck of 22 major arcana cards. It has computer-generated Tarot artwork with a rich, multi-layered, busy look. There are thick, ornate borders in a gold colour surrounding the central scene.

Tarot of Dreams  Open in New Window

Deck Image

The Tarot of Dreams is the follow-up work from Ciro Marchetti, creator of the Gilded Tarot, in collaboration with Lee Bursten of the Gay Tarot. It is a new concept in Tarot, with 78 printed cards plus 40 additional digital cards on CD.

Walter's Tarot  Open in New Window

Walter's Tarot deck is a computer-generated one, with no human figures but some interesting landscapes. I like his Three of Cups card.
