Card Meaning
No description was provided for this card. The following generalization is an excerpt from the book 'It's All in Your Cards' by John Mangiapane.
'Fives' are cards of change, challenge, and fluctuation. Some feel that the Fives in general are negative when upright, but improve when reversed.
This is a card about stiff competition, fair or otherwise, and there is no telling whom the clear winner might be; after all the men fighting in the card are fighting as separate entities. If Wands deal with enterprise and glory, then these men are seeking a challenge - but the outcome is unclear. This is a card about 'spinning your wheels', about strong competition in the Querent's field, a quarrel with neighbors or in the home, obstacles, or possibly a lawsuit.
When reversed think that the wands fall from the men's grips and they are left without a means to fight each other. The opposite of strife is harmony in one's affairs, new opportunities, hopes for a happy conclusion to unsettling events.
