The Artist's Concept
I was given this card but was quite pleased with the offer. I think it reflects me in some ways.
When I see this card I think of youth and artistic things like music, painting, and things of the heart such as romance and emotions. I feel a bit like the Fool when I think of the card, daydreaming my way along caught up in the things that stimulates the emotions.
The Page is standing in the water and a great wave is coming over him. He has a rose on his breastplate and the chalice he holds also has some roses on it. (There is a fish coming out of the cup as in the original card). I have also added an artist palette to show artistic/musical qualities and the thought bubble shows that the page is thinking of love and romance and relationships.
The sea and wave signify the tide of emotions from low to high, and the Page standing in the water signifies his persona is one based on emotional things. The rose on his breastplate shows that although outwardly he may appear strong and logical inwardly he has a soft romantic quality. The fish in the cup shows the subconscious rising from the depths of the emotions (held in the cup) and the roses signify natural things and love/romance. The artist materials show that this person may have talent in artistic fields such as painting or music or literary arts. The colours chosen give a feel of tranquility. The rings and heart in the thought bubble stand for relationships of the heart. This Page is the sort of person who will stand up for you regardless of the adversity.
