Card Meaning

No card description was provided. The following generalization is an excerpt from the book 'It's All in Your Cards' by John Mangiapane.

Although older decks depict an act of brute force as an indication of Strength, the general meaning is that by applying love and consideration to a problem instead of beating it into submission is the way to correctly handle the situation. Most modern decks show a highly developed spiritual being who has tapped into the powers of the universe and overcomes by spiritual strength, not physical strength.

When reversed, the card speaks of discord in one's life, possible too much attention to the physical/material and not the spiritual. Perhaps it says that in the past you handled things badly, were destructive with a passion, or acted without regard to anyone else. Reversed can also mean you are sending/receiving mixed signals.

This is a card of people who act instinctively, intuitively, or relate well to animals, such as a veterinarian.
