The Artist's Concept

In my card I have used the baby and the small boy to show how children are interested in everything. They can take the smallest thing and find joy in it. The Buddhist monks show how adults can also be very spiritually aware and advanced and still enjoy themselves as much as children do. Buddhist monks to me are the absolute example of contentment, enlightenment and joy. They radiate light and allow you to join them. I see them and just want to smile back.

Card Meaning

This card means happiness, unbridled joy, contentment, and enlightenment. It means being able to be a kid again. Enjoy yourself; allow the light of happiness and contentment to flow through you and to others around you.

Card Media

Design: 5" x 7" chalk pastels, colored pencils and collage.
