The Artist's Concept

I wanted to do this card because it represents what I believe and teach. We are spiritual beings living in physical bodies. We are all connected. When I see the World card in any deck I always think the same thing: I Am Not Alone. I am a part of all that is and has been and will be. I have the power to master my goals and reach for my dreams. The Universe supports my endeavors. I always see this as a positive card.

The World card I have created to shows this spiritual being dwelling in the physical form, standing on top of the world surrounded by an aura of love. This spirit holds the Sun in one hand and the Moon in the other, standing among the stars. These symbols correspond well with some traditional meanings of the World card such as aspiration, wholeness, and mastery. But the spirit's heart reminds us of the expansiveness of love in the Universe. The pink background symbolizes this love. Our World expands into the Universe.

Card Meaning

My card says that we must learn to embrace the earth as a divine living being, the Mother who nurtures us. As we learn this, we transcend through the spiral of life - an evolution to more spiritual awareness. The Universe is backing our work. Instead of trying to conquer the world - we are working with it. In the answer of the question, "Will my venture be a success?" the World card says to take action to achieve your goals .. Reversal: Either you are not taking any action to support your endeavors, or now is not the right time. [Editor's note: New River does not read reversals.]
