Description
This image shows a toddler as the Fool, about to take her first steps into the unknown. She doesn't know of the lessons that life will bring her, or the adventures coming her way, but her eyes are bright and she isn't afraid. The smudgy images behind her indicate that her past is not what is important, it is the journey she is about to take. The colors of purple and green indicate both the spiritual and material elements of her journey.
Who is she? Where is she going? That's the beauty of the Fool card - each journey is as individual as we all are.
Card Meaning
This card is similar to the Rider Waite in that the character appears to be blissfully unaware of "walking off the cliff". They have complete confidence, either due to ignorance or by trusting that no one will let them come to harm, that they will be okay. They look forward to the journey.
Artistic Media
This card was made by enhancing a digital photo.
The background was blurred while retaining the crispness of the toddler's
image.
