Description
A river of light flows from a range of mountains wrapped in darkness. The river is glowing as it flows downwards and becomes the light of day. Immersed within are six pentacles being carried down towards the out stretched hands of a person in silhouette, reflecting the darkness of the river's source.
Symbolism & Meaning
The darkness surrounding the river's source and the light which it becomes symbolizes the never ending cycle of night and day, light and dark, and all other cyclical events found in the universe. The person in silhouette represents the darkness of one's need. This person is looking up into the river of light, about to embrace it and the rewards within, symbolic of receiving some form of posterity. A field of color surrounding the recipient reinforces the bounty being sent from the sky/ The image is somewhat different from the standard Rider-Waite image, but the concept is the same. As a reversed image the flow would be from the person standing in the vibrant field, to the darkness of the scene above. This river of light would then represent the giving of one's resources to light up another's existence, and the silhouetted person would then represent loss and a descent into darkness.

Artist's Bio
I am still working on my tarot deck. The majors are almost complete, and work on the minors has begun. I plan to self publish it, as with all the decks currently available, demand will be minimal. The cards done for this and other projects are not indicative of the final work.
