Ace of Wands

by Lady DraagonStorm

Card Meaning

Artist's Bio

We see the human brain, with synapses firing. Ideas are shooting out with lighting speed, the earth below, and the universe above.

Centered is the human brain. This brain is not idle; we see eight green flashes, symbolizing synapses firing as the brain is creating new realities. As in the standard RWS Ace of Wands, eight leaves, which symbolize the Hebrew Yods, which means descend from spirit into matter. The lighting flashes are the thoughts going out into the universe to become real. Above is the Bow Shock near a Young Star in the Orion Nebula taken by the Hubble telescope, another symbol of new beginnings. And below the earth and trees, show the grounding that will be needed to achieve all that this card promises.

In this card we see the beginnings of thought into reality.

Card Meaning

The Ace of Wands is a card of beginnings. The beginnings of ideas, businesses, creativity or any other thing our human mind can conjure. Wands are the suit of fire. Fire representing energy, and creativity. So this cards meaning is the beginning of anything doing with creative ventures. A new type of business, and new kind of job, or things in that realm.

Lady DraagonStorm or in the real world, known as Gail Kettleson, is a 51 year old woman. She lives in Las Vegas, Nevada and works as a computer programmer for a well-known casino. She has been a spiritual person all of her life, with an interest in all that is Goddess and God. She has recently decided to study Tarot seriously as part of her path. Art has always been a hobby, and way to relax, and finds that designing tarot cards are a great way to learn the meanings of each card in a more personal way.
