Description

I have 10 cups in the foreground, with a "rainbow" arching out of the top ones; a happy family stands in the background.

Symbolism

It is done mainly in orange, which is the color most symoblizing happiness. It is very simple and says that Here is completion, happiness, harmony.

Card Meaning

This card stands for happiness & completion on an emotional level. Nothing is wanting to one's happiness; one has found "the end of the rainbow" & the gold that is hidden therein.

Artistic Media

Linoleum reduction-print.

Artist's Bio

I was born in Syracuse, NY in 1966 & spent 28 years there, barring when I went to college, at Swain School of Design in New Bedford, MA, which is now part of U-Mass Dartmouth. I received a BFA in oil-painting. After that, as I said I returned to Syracuse until my parents moved to Sullivan Cty. in PA; I returned for another 2 1/2 years, then left for DC to live with my sister. I left DC after 4 years for Sayre, PA, an hour away from my parents, where I am pursuing painting full-time with an ambition to become a known professional.

I am bi-polar; this has impacted my life in both positive & negative ways, but I have found great inspiration in my visions.

I have been reading the Tarot since the age of 12; I am almost entirely self-taught, but feel that I have hit my professional stride on Kasamba, the "Expert Site", where I am a regular reader and a well-liked one, I am pleased to say!

I have my own deck upon which I am working; it is called the "Ancient Celtic Tarot" (the OTHER "ACT"! ;) ), which I am very close to finishing & self-publishing.

All in all, I feel that my 40's will be by far my most fulfilling & satisfying decade yet both personally and professionally; may I find that this card becomes reality for me!
