The Artist's Concept
I enjoyed my first card so much that when Solandia asked someone to
make this one in 2 days I volunteered.
In my card, an Egyptian Queen holds her sword pointing down.
The sword is her Will, which she keeps down inside herself, but within
reach in case she feels need to exert it. She stands in an airy desert
to represent the element of air, which is associated with the swords
suit. In the backgroud stands the pillars of Wisdom and Knowledge, the
pillars of the Queen's being, representing the mental aspects of the
sword suit.
Card Meaning
The Queen of Swords is a shrewd woman, who holds back her opinion until
she knows exactly what she wants to say, then she makes her opinion
perfectly clear. She is very intelligent and professional. Don't bother
lying to her, she'll see right through it.
Reversed: a woman who is cold and distant. She often makes cutting remarks that
hurt others badly, but she doesn't even realize she is doing it. Can be
lying and manipulative, or critical of those who don't live up to her
expectations.
Card Media
Digital collage, but I drew the sword.
