Description, Symbolism & Meaning

The 4 of swords is about mental 'time out'. The girl in the card is wearing sunglasses - covering the 3rd eye - resting and rejuvenating her mental state. She is relaxed, sitting amongst her soft surroundings - just surrendering to what 'is'. She is letting the tension melt away. It is a card of mental stability... everything is still. A break is taken for meditation to heal the previous stresses on mind, body and spirit. She holds a bottle of water - this is all she needs -to replenish- as she sits quietly.

Artist's Bio

I am 27 years, female, Scottish. I have lived and worked many places. I am trained in theatre studies (production, art & design) and worked freelance for many years as a scenic artist. I was also an art teacher for a short time. I now run my web site - road trip, and study yoga, in hope of one day becoming a yoga teacher. My dream is to buy a motor home, and set off with no plan.
