Description
A golden Tibetan Wheel of Fortune is here surrounded by an Ouroborus snake, an hour glass placed in the middle, sand still running through from one side to the other.
Symbolism
The Tibetan Wheel of Good Fortune symbolizes the turning of
the wheel of Buddha's doctrine and teachings, it symbolizes
the source of wealth, love, liberation and good fortune, and
the realization of the these, a symbol of the responsibility
we must assume in this life in order to achieve our goals so
that we may fulfill the potential of the opportunities which
the universe so generously bestows upon us.
The Ouroboros is really a symbol of the eternal unity of all
things, the cycle of birth and death. Its symbolic connotation
from this owes
to the returning cyclical nature of the seasons; disintegration
and re-integration; truth and cognition complete; the potential
before the spark of creation, the idea of the beginning and
the end as being a continuous unending cycle. Where ever the
wheel finds us, up or down, always in motion, we have the
power to take that destiny into our own hands.
The hour glass
is a
classic symbol of Time. It reminds us that in this realm
of our physical world, time is a measured commodity, for as
long
as we are here on this earth, the hours, minutes and seconds
of our lives will sip through this glass and every second
we have the ability to make our choices, listen to the universe
and receive the gifts that are waiting to be apprehended.
A
sudden spark of good fortune can only be appreciated when
you are at the right place at the right time. Good luck may
provide
us with unexpected opportunities but one has to be aware
and alert in order to recognize and utilize it to its fullest
potential. Some say it's all in the timing, but without ample
opportunity
and the willingness to take action; great prospects may
pass
you by. However, sometimes a split second can make all the
difference….
