Collaborative Tarot Decks

Decks created together by a group of people in collaboration, who each worked on one or more cards.

Abysmal Tarot

The Abysmal Tarot is a new alternative, art tarot with a satanic theme. It is a quality set with 22 cards by ten different artists, each featuring a Devil or demonic aspect. Published in a limited edition of 333 copies, with 22 of these decks having an extra card called Abigor.

Artist's Inner Vision Tarot

Twenty six artists created three cards each in this collaborative tarot deck, the Artist's Inner Vision Tarot. The result is surprisingly unified, despite the range of mediums from collage to illustration.

Elora Tarot

The Elora Tarot is a collaborative deck created by 65 artists from the small town of Elora, Ontario in Canada. Each artist created up to three cards in their own choice of style and medium. The 79-card deck (it also includes a Happy Squirrel card) is self-published by group coordinator, Shelley Carter.

Fantasy Showcase Tarot

Now out of print, the Fantasy Showcase Tarot was originally published in 1980. Each card of fantasy art was created by a different artist, and six extra cards have been added to the deck.

LiteraTarot America

The LiteraTarot decks are the brain-child of the Italian Museo dei Tarocchi. In 2008 the theme of their yearly collaborative decks was the great classics of literature, and a deck was put together in each of the continents. The American deck was hosted by Arnell Ando.

LiteraTarot Europa

The LiteraTarot Europa is one of the group of collaborative decks with a literature theme from the Museo dei Tarocchi. This one is by European - mainly Italian - artists, and is a limited edition, majors-only deck.

LiteraTarot Oceania

The LiteraTarot decks are the brain-child of the Italian Museo dei Tarocchi. In 2008 the theme of their yearly collaborative decks was the great classics of literature, and a deck was put together in each of the continents. This, the Oceania deck, was hosted by Fern Mercier and Lyn Olds and has cards from artists all over the region.

Lowbrow Tarot

The Lowbrow Tarot is a collaborative project, organised by Aunia Kahn who created the Silver Era Tarot. More than 20 different artists have contributed to this creative and unique majors-only deck.

Pathfinder's, the Animal Totem Deck

Pathfinder's, the Animal Totem Deck has 83 animal cards (and 4 index cards) by 39 different artists. It features dozens of animals, both great and small, from all over the world.

Soul Vision Tarot

The Soul Vision Tarot is a collaborative deck by artists associated with the Soul Vision website and Yahoo group, not all of whom have Tarot experience. Published as a limited edition of 79 decks.

Soul Vision Tarot 2005

This is the 2005 version of the collaborative Soul Vision Tarot. It has a very traditional structure, but with unique cards by a group of different artists.

Tarocchi eVoluti

The Tarocchi eVoluti is a collaborative group project by Italian artists, compiled by the "Museo del Tarocchi". The 22 long, narrow cards have a range of art styles - illustrated, painted, collage, abstract - even images of movie stars.
