Deck of the Dreamers

The Deck of the Dreamers has bright colours and vivid imagery, it was designed to be a dream-like take on the traditional Tarot deck and works very well. It is unpublished and still in progress.

Deirdre of the Sorrows

Deirdre of the Sorrows is a 78-card tarot deck designed for the new millennium, and "to lift the Tarot out of the Dark Ages and bring them into the light." The art is delicately illustrated in pencil, with selected touches of colour. Available with a beginners' guide companion book.

Dementia Tarot

A tarot project in progress, the Dementia Tarot cards are drawn in ink on paper and coloured separately in a blended style. The effect is freehand and high contrast.

Destiny Tarot

The Destiny Tarot is a box set with a book and 78 oversized cards, illustrated with fairly unskilled-looking paintings with heavy white borders. The majors and courts have traditional imagery, but the numbered minors are pip cards. The same images have been published in a smaller size as part of the 'Tarot Basics Book and Gift Set'.

Deva Tarot

There's an extra suit, Triax, in this large tarot deck. The Deva Tarot cards show finely detailed paintings, surrounded by a thick greyish border and multi-lingual titles.

Deviant Moon Tarot

The Deviant Moon Tarot has surreal, very unique, and sometimes disturbing moonlit artwork. It's inspired by (and incorporates) images of cemetaries and mental asylums, and designed to illuminate deeper parts of the subsconscious. The talented illustrator is also a tarot student, and the deck is the result of three years of artistic work.

Diamond Tarot

A reworked Rider-Waite type tarot, featuring Pamela Colman-Smith's original drawings but in slightly more psychedelic colours. The Diamond Tarot cards are inset into thick, almost tunnel-like, kaleidoscopic borders.

Diary of a Broken Soul

The Diary of a Broken Soul Tarot, an elegantly gothic black and white deck, is the manifestation of artist Ash's shadow work. Now self-published in a 78 card edition, there is also a slightly different 22 card edition.

Diary of a Broken Soul Tarot (22 cards)

The Diary of a Broken Soul Tarot is an elegantly gothic deck in mostly black and white, and is the manifestation of artist Ash's shadow work. This 22 card limited edition is available from Adam McLean, and there is also now a full 78 card edition.

Dion Fortune Tarot

While not a creation by Dion Fortune herself, this deck is inspired by her Tarot and Qabalah teachings. Its images are a mixture of Marseilles-style, photographic, and illustrated elements, and are intended for meditation and reflection.

Dirty Tarot

The Dirty Tarot is a very non-traditional oracle deck of forty cards. The images in no way ethereal or pure, but are symbols of things we have, touch, desire and tend to in our messy everyday lives.

Discordian Tarot

The Discordian Tarot is a black and white tarot with an interesting juxtaposition of images. Discordia was the Roman goddess of Strife, similar to the Greek Eris.

Disney Afternoon Tarot

The very talented Lar has combined Disney characters in the standard Tarot scenes to create a wonderful cartoon-like deck. Unfortunately the deck is not for publication.

Diva Tarot

A collaborative, in-progress tarot deck created to celebrate the magic of being a woman. The Diva Tarot cards are round and a include a mixture of styles.

Dog Tarot

Built more on a love of dogs than a knowledge of tarot, the Dog Tarot deck corresponds different breeds of dog with the major arcana cards. Still in progress.
